Exclusive Video Premiere: Steel Panther Perform “The Burden of Being Wonderful” Acoustically, Live in NYC

Steel Panther had us in stitches for the duration of the two-hour gloryhole booth promo session we had with them in NYC last week, both on and off-camera. In addition to the exclusive live acoustic performance of “The Burden of Being Wonderful” that you’re about to watch, we got a hilarious interview with them for this week’s edition of The MetalSucks Podcast. But by far the funniest moment came during the segment they shot for Gear Gods — “The Top Five Guitar Riffs of All Time” — when drummer Stix Zadinia referred to a Japanese version of a Les Paul as a “Res Paul.” We were laughing so hard I thought you were gonna have to stop rolling the tape.

So here’s “The Burden of Being Wonderful,” which surprisingly works just as well acoustically as it does fully plugged in. Apologies for the slightly sub-par audio quality — we made the best we could of the equipment available to us. Big thanks to Frank Godla for filming and editing!
