Jam TWO New Carnal Forge Songs for the Price of Zero

Carnal Forge - When All Else Fails

Carnal Forge have never exactly done anything ground-breaking, but hell, they’re just SO FUCKING SOLID! It’s like they combined all the meatiest parts of Swedish melodeath — especially Carcass — and left all the bones and guts at the side of the road. The results are all killer no filler, like a delectable meat sandwich without lettuce or tomatoes or even BREAD for chrissakes; just gimme the good stuff!

So it’s with a big, manly bear-hug that we welcome Carnal Forge back to the scene with two new songs, “Chemical Disincorporation” and “Bleed For Me,” the latter of which features guest guitar solos from Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry) and Mike Wead (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate). The two new tracks come from When All Else Fails, a new release Carnal Forge are billing as a “single” despite it having at least three tracks on it (the two below plus the title track), out on April 30th.

This is the first new music we’re hearing from Carnal Forge since the song “Blood War” they released on its own in 2010, and it was all the way back in 2007 the last time they released a proper album, Testify For My Victims. Jens C. Mortensen, who sang on that album, is now back after a lengthy hiatus.

Listen to the two new songs below and see what you think. I’m already in heavy like.
