Time Travelers and Bonfires: Stream Sevendust’s New Acoustic Album in Full

Sevendust - Time Travelers & Bonfires

I just love watching all you guys get stangry every time we post about Sevendust! I’m sorry you all are unable to comprehend how this band is so much more skilled, dynamic and nuanced than some of their peers like, say, Mushroomhead or (hed)p.e., even though it’s a night and day difference.

But let’s say for a minute that Sevendust are in fact no better than every other alt/nu-metal band that broke between 1995 and 2005 (not the case at all) and that Axl and I love them so much in part for nostalgic reasons (maybe partly true). 1) You could read another article on this site or one of any number of other sites instead of wasting your time complaining here, and 2) It’s our blog on which we have always and will continue to display our own personal biases. So deal with it!

Now that that’s out of the way: Sevendust’s new crowd-funded acoustic album Time Travelers & Bonfires came out yesterday and it’s available to stream in full below. The first six songs are brand new, some of which we’ve featured already, and the album’s back half consists of 7D classics given the acoustic treatment. All the songs were re-recorded properly in the studio, unlike 2004’s Southside Double-Wide, a live album recorded in Chicago.

Here it is: time to get stangry! Stream it in full at Guitar World then come back here and tell us what you think.
