Autopsy - Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves

I felt a little iffy about “The Howling Dead,” the first single from Autopsy’s upcoming Tourniquets, Hacksaws, and Graves — but I am 110% behind “Burial,” the new Graves track that has debuted over at Pitchfork. You all know about my incredible passion for elephants marching riffs — well, this song certainly has an elephants marching riff, but the elephant sounds like a zombie, and its march is a little wobbly on account of all its muscles and bones decaying. Which is both appropriate for Autopsy, and totally kick-ass.

The song also has the best totally-nonsensical-mish-mosh-of-notes guitar solo this side of classic Slayer. BONUS!

Stream the track hereTourniquets, Hacksaws, and Graves comes out via Peaceville on April 21 in Europe and April 29 in ‘Merica. Read our rave review here!
