Marilyn Manson is Gonna Be On Sons of Anarchy
Marilyn Manson has proven time and again that he’s not just an incredible musician, but an incredible actor as well. Who can forget the wide range of roles his has absolutely inhabited over the years? Whether playing “Porno Star #1” in Lost Highway, “The Stranger” in Jawbreaker, or “Bartender” in Rise: Blood Hunter, Manson has never been anything less than wholly convincing. Little wonder his films have grossed a combined $10 million worldwide… fans of great thespianism simply cannot get enough of the guy.
So it with no small amount of jubilation that I report that The PRP reports that Manson will appear in the upcoming (and apparently final) season of the FX biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy. Manson will play the role of Ron Tully, “an imprisoned white supremacist with considerable influence.” Says Manson of his latest on-camera performance:
“Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s, so I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”
Well, assuming he brings even one-eighth of the skill to this role that he brought to the part of “Roller Rink Server” on HBO’s Eastbound & Down, I have little doubt that Mr. Manson will soon be shaming the Sean Penns and Michael Fassbenders of the world. Poor dudes don’t even stand a chance.
The final season of Sons of Anarchy begins in September.
