Acid Bath Seek New Vocalist

We’ve been hearing rumors of an Acid Bath reunion since 2009, and the band’s most recent line-up — guitarists Sammy Duet (now of Goatwhore fame) and Mike Sanchez (Agents of Oblivion), vocalist Dax Riggs (ditto), and drummer Jimmy Kyle — posted a photo of themselves hanging out back in 2012. The latest news in this ongoing saga? Kyle has posted the following on his Facebook page:

So it would appear that Riggs is out of the band. Which is a total bummer! Still, who wouldn’t love to see these dudes get back together in some form?

Like I said, though, we’ve been hearing about this reunion forever now… and we still have no timeline… and now they need to hire a new vocalist… and presumably Duet is gonna be pretty busy touring behind the new Goatwhore album… so we still probably have a ways to go on this.
