Havok Venture Out Into Space in New Video, Get All Philosophical and Stuff

In keeping with last week’s post about Crowbar’s new video, here are some random thoughts swimming through my brain as I watch Havok’s new video for the track “Chasing the Edge:”

• SICK green screen graphics!
• More bands should be using green screens in their music videos.
• Drummer Pete Webber is nicely cut; those abs!!
• Drummer Pete Webber is also in the Dirk Verbeuren school of glove-wearing. Drummers: can you tell me the pros and cons of wearing gloves? Seems like it’d be a very controversial topic you’re either adamantly for or against.
• Goddammit this band rips so hard.
• Dave Sanchez has one of the best sing/screams in all of metal.
• Heady lyrics, maaaaaan!
• I love it when bands with two guitarists let each guitarist take part of a solo.
