Watching Every Time I Die’s NSFW Video for “Decayin’ With the Boys” is the Most Fun You Will Have All Week

Every Time I Die - From Parts UnknownThis is really cool concept: the plot of Every Time I Die’s new video for “Decayin’ With the Boys” picks up at exactly the moment their last video for “Thirst” ended. There are plenty of examples littered throughout metal’s history of common themes in a band’s music videos, or even of linear connected storylines, but I can’t recall one that begins at the exact moment the previous one ended. That doesn’t mean there isn’t such an example, just that I don’t remember: maybe I partied as hard as the guys in “Thirst” did and done forgot.

The video for “Thirst” was extremely fun and raucous, and this one is even more so: boobs, penises, girls making out with each other, guys making out with each other, drugs, booze and all sorts of other shenanigans. And Jenga, but with a twist. Who doesn’t love Jenga? And an Every Time I Die show — which in itself is a raucous affair — but moreso than ever, because it takes place in a tiny house. How come I wasn’t invited to this party?

Every Time I Die new album From Parts Unknown was produced by Converge’s Kurt Ballou and will come out on July 1st via Epitaph.
