Wanna Hear 30 Seconds of New Faceless Music??
Michael Keene has become notorious for taking a long time between albums, even though he’s only released three and the time between album one and album two was a perfectly reasonable two years. Fans had to hold on for four years between Planetary Duality and Autotheism, which did seem like an eternity. It was worth the wait, I’d argue!
But it seems as if the wait this time around might be a little bit shorter. Autotheism came out in August of 2012, and less than two years later The Faceless machinery is churning once again. Keene posted a couple of clips of new music when he took over Summer Slaughter’s Instagram account on Tuesday. Watch:
Sounds pretty promising! And very Faceless-y.
It’s worth noting that recordings do not an album make; these might just be demos, or even if they are full-fledged recordings the album could still be a ways off from completion, let alone release. But it’s encouraging news nonetheless.
The Faceless will play with Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus, Thy Art is Murder, Goatwhore, Origin, Decrepit Birth, Within the Ruins and Fallujah on this year’s Summer Slaughter package; dates here.
