Knotfest 2014 to Feature Danzig, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Not Joey Jordison

Slipknot have announced the line-up for the 2014 edition of their three day Knotfest event, which you can check out via the below poster (the line-up, not the event itself, duh):

Is this Maximum the Hormone’s first U.S. show? I sure do hope a full tour follows. Or that they at least play NYC. Honestly, I could give a fuck about the rest of you.

ANYWAY, the other reason this is exciting is because it means that Slipknot will presumably be revealing the identity of their new drummer shortly. (Honestly, I’m shocked they’ve managed to keep it under wraps this long.) And since Corey Taylor recently said that the band’s new album is basically complete, it also seems likely that there could be some new material thrown into the setlist, especially since a) they’re already saying all ticket buyers will get a digital download of the new release, and b) each of the three nights’ setlists will be completely different.
