Oops! We recently listed Dormiveglia, the monolithic debut LP from South Yorkshire’s Trudger, in our weekly “Shit That Comes Out Today” column… even though the album doesn’t come out ’til August 1. But can you blame us for getting excited about the release? As we said at the time, “Dormiveglia is one of those albums hellbent on incessancy — that constant tugging, yanking, and bulging.” Trudger are already being compared to bands like Old Man Gloom and Mastodon, and with good reason: their sound is downright grotesque. And we mean that as a compliment.

MetalSucks is proud to debut “Thickening Fog,” from Trudger’s Dormiveglia, below! Like we said, it comes out August 1, and will receive a one time pressing on transparent blue twelve-inch vinyl, limited to 300 copies, from cult UK label Church of Fuck and German DIY specialists Sell Your Sould Records. Trudger begin a UK tour with Swinelord in August; get dates here.
