Kiss Black Anvil “Under the Rose”

I guess Black Anvil like a challenge: for the deluxe edition of their latest offering, Hail Death, they covered a KISS song… but not a KISS song everyone loves, like “Rock N’ Roll All Night” or “Calling Dr. Love” or whatever. No no no, they chose “Under the Rose,” which originally appeared on Music from The Elder, which I think is more or less considered to be KISS’ shittiest album, even by the members of KISS themselves.

Black Anvil’s version is pretty good, though! Sure, I would still have preferred they covered Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose” if they were gonna do something involving the words “kiss” and “rose,” but you can’t win ’em all.
