MetalSucks Proudly Presents Arsis’ A Decade of Guilt Tenth North American Tour 2014!!!
So… remember a few weeks back, when Arsis announced that they’d be commemorating the tenth anniversary of their neo-classic, A Celebration of Guilt, by playing the album in full during a European tour? And remember how we were all, “Man, we wish they’d bring that tour to North America!”?
Well, hey, guess what? Arsis ARE bringing their A Celebration of Guilt Tenth Anniversary Tour to North America… and MetalSucks is sponsoring it! (We swear, we had no idea the N.A. edition of the tour was in the works when we wrote that!) And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, they’ll be joined by Allegaeon and Exmortus, two of the best young metal bands on the scene today!!!
Says Arsis guitarist/vocalist James Malone of the trek:
“10 years ago I was a full time college student that was given an opportunity. The musical project that I had been working on ‘for fun’ on breaks from school was asked to record a full length album for a small independent record label. I had no idea at the time what the response would be to the album, or if there would be any response at all. Almost as soon as the album was released, much to my surprise, we were getting attention from around the world and my life was forever changed. That album was called A Celebration of Guilt and myself and everyone in Arsis, would like to celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary by playing the album…in it’s entirety…on tour. Many of songs have not been played live in years, if ever. Here’s to a decade of guilt and METAL!!!””
So these shows won’t just be totally killer — but they’ll be historic, too!
