Is Linkin Park’s “In the End” Any Less Irritating When Performed in Styles That Aren’t Nu-Metal?

Anthony Vincent, that metal dude who sang Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” in twenty different styles (including those of Iron Maiden, Pantera, Metallica, Slipknot Type O Negative, and System of a Down) has returned with a new video, in which he performs Linkin Park’s godforsaken breakthrough hit, “In the End,” also in twenty different styles. Artists used as a reference point for this rendition include Guns N’ Roses, Alice in Chains, Strapping Young Lad, and, uh, Enya. So. Yeah.

Although Vincent’s vocal talents remain impressive, the song remains shitty. It would be really swell if Vincent could base his next video around a song that doesn’t suck Dio’s decayed dick, or, better still, if some decent metal band would just recruit him and allow him to concentrate on original material from here on out.

Here, see if you disagree with me. I know some of you are actually Linkin Park fans. I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with you, but to each their own.
