nyccpromo2014finalFINALHoly shit you guys: with the 2013 edition drawing more than 300,000 people over the course of four days, New York Comic Con is now actually BIGGER than San Diego Comic Con… and it’s STILL growing. With extended hours and more vendors, attendees, and celebrity panels and signings than ever before, New York Comic Con 2014 is set to be not just this con’s best year yet, but pretty much just the best con, like, ever.

So as you can imagine, MetalSucks is pleased to announce that we’ll be returning to NYCC for the fourth year in a row, in conjunction once again with our buddies Metal Injection and Vertebrae33! We always have a blast, and this year we’re planning to really blow the roof off the joint. All three of us will have some sweet new merch designs (in addition to a couple of old favorites), plus a ton of free goodies from the good folks at Metal Blade and Nuclear Blast! We can’t reveal the details yet, but we’re also working on lining up at least one or two rad signings (just to give you some idea of what we mean when we say “rad,” past guests have included Anthrax’s Frank Bello, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, Testament’s Alex Skolnick, and Death’s Richard Christy). And as if all that wasn’t enough, you will also be able to partake in the joy that is watching non-comic-nerd Vince Neilstein try to figure out who all the cosplayers are supposed to be.

New York Comic Con 2014 will take place at Javits Center in Manhattan from October 9-12. Multi-day passes are already sold out, as are single-day passes for every day except Thursday! So if you wanna come and you didn’t buy a ticket yet, move your ass. And if you’re already gonna be at NYCC, make sure you come hang out with us! We’ll be at booth #2676, which is more than four times as evil as booth #666. We shouldn’t be hard to find… just follow the sounds of Metallica! See ya there!!!
