King 810 Mug ShotsIn June, King 810’s respective vocalist and bassist, David Gunn and Eugene Gill, were arrested on assault charges stemming from a 2013 brawl outside a club in Flint, MI. And while the charges against Gunn were dropped pretty quickly, Gill was still was facing serious jail time…

…until now. According to Michigan’s MLive, prosecutors are dropping the charges against Gill, too:

Gill’s attorney, Clint Perryman, said Friday, Oct. 10, that he was notified prosecutors intended to dismiss the charge after an investigator was able to locate witnesses who said the victim was the actual instigator of the fight.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton confirmed that his office would dismiss the case.

“After reviewing additional witness statements, we’re not really sure what happened that night,” Leyton said. “Justice is best served by a dismissal of the charges. There were just too many conflicting accounts.”

Unfortunately, prosecutors are still considering charging Gill with reckless endangerment on account of his shitty, shitty music. If convicted, Gill could be forced to life imprisonment as a member of White Wizzard.

I’m kidding, of course. The state that spawned Kid Rock SO does not care how terrible its residents’ music is.
