Wayfarer Will Fare Better on Prosthetic Records

0

Wayfarer - Children of the Iron AgeHere’s what we said about Wayfarer when we featured them in Unsigned and Unholy this past April:

Wayfarer lean a bit more towards the black metal side of the spectrum, but in a worldly, loosely defined use of that term akin to, say, Nachtmystium or Cormorant. Really their music is much more complex than most black metal and incorporates all sorts of influences, even a touch of hard rock melody. I really dig the production aesthetic — clear but gritty.

At the time they were promoting their self-released Children of the Iron Age album. Now Prosthetic Records has signed the band and is re-releasing that album. Huzzah! We love it when good bands we feature here receive an opportunity to release their wares to the world through a proper record label.

Check out the album track “A Place Among Stars” below. The re-release of Children of the Iron Age comes out on November 24th and can be pre-ordered here on vinyl and CD.
