Today in Machine Head News: Check Out a Haunting Cover of “Damage Inside”

Hey, did you guys know that a new Machine Head album called Bloodstone & Diamonds came out this week on Nuclear Blast? I know we haven’t given it much coverage here at MetalSucks, and for that I am truly sorry.

Hopefully, this video of Vika Yermolyeva performing a piano cover of the haunting Bloodstone track “Damage Inside” will make up for it. The gentle (by MH standards at least) nature of the song means it lends itself pretty naturally to a reinterpretation such as this — it’s not like Yermolyeva tried to do a piano cover of “Davidian” or whatever — but this is still pretty rad.
