nightkin oath announcement bannerYou should all be fully aware of the existence of Nightkin, given that a) the band features The Red Chord’s Mike “Gunface” McKenzie and former Black Dahlia Murderers Zack Gibson and Dave Lock, and b) we premiered their first EP, Nox Æterna, right here on MetalSucks. Granted, that was over a year ago, and we haven’t heard much from the band since…

…until now! Not only have they announced that Corpse Flower Records will release their debut full-length, Oath of Elucidation, in 2015, but they’ve released a teaser for that album in the form of a cover of Ramin Djawadi’s famous, impossible-to-get-out-of-your-head theme music for Game of Thrones. Alas, HBO currently has no plans to include it alongside the new Killswitch Engage song on their next Game of Thrones-themed mixtape.

Check out the Thrones cover below. We’ll let you know as soon as we know more details about the release of Oath of Elucidation.
