Evisorax
Goodbye to the Feast… Welcome to the Famine (Bones Brigade/2318)
January 26

With all due respect to my colleagues, if one of our selections for Albums That Will Fuck Your Face Off in 2015 were actually going to come to life and literally fuck someone in their face until that face came off, it would clearly be Evisorax‘s Goodbye to the Feast… Welcome to the Famine. With seven songs in twelve minutes, Feast hits the ground running at a breakneck pace and allows its victims… uh, listeners… no breathing room whatsoever. It is a WMD of a record, a whirlwind of violence, an agent of chaos.

Evisorax aren’t really a supergroup, but they do descend from a distinguished lineage — the trio includes Krokodil guitarist Dan Carter and former Narcosis vocalist Jamie Brod. And it would seem that they’ve already won the approval of the grindcore elite: Agoraphobic Nosebleed’s J. Randall released their last album, Isle of Dogs, through his digital Grindcore Karaoke label; that record was mastered by one Mr. Scott Hull; and the album art for Feast was created by Arif Rot, of Wormrot fame.

Having all those names in one paragraph alone oughta pique your interest, but in case you still need convincing, here’s the video for the Feast track “Locust Breeders”… it’s less than ninety seconds long, so don’t be a total douche, just watch it:

AWESOME, right?

Once you pick your face up off the floor, pre-order here (vinyl) or here (cassette). You and your fucked-off face will thank me later.
