Through the Eyes of the Dead: Care to Demo a Demo?

Are we finally getting close to the release of a new Through the Eyes of the Dead album? Not sure, but we’re definitely getting closer: last summer, the band released some music snippets via Instagram; then, in December, they released a one-minute-long demo; and now they’ve released the rest of that demo, so it’s the length of an actual non-grindcore song. Assuming they continue along this trajectory, the next move would be to release a demo with vocals, and then an unmixed track from their new record, and then an unmastered track from that record, and then a single from that record, and then, finally, the record itself. Or they could just skip right from this to the release of an actual single part. That would be swell, too. In any case, it seems realistic to expect that we’ll get a new Through the Eyes of the Dead release before we all have to listen to it through the ears of the dead.

So how does this demo sound? Well… promising! At least if you like Through the Eyes of the Dead. If you don’t, this probably won’t do anything to change your mind.
