Machine Head Tour 2015As of this writing, there are still twelve dates left on Machine Head’s incredible “An Evening With…” tour. The show Vince and I saw here in NYC was excellent (read my review here), and from what I’ve heard, the rest of the tour has been totally rad, also.

But if you can’t/won’t be able to make it to one of the shows for whatever reason — geographical restrictions, show sold out, your dumb brother decided to get married the same night, whatever — then I have some good news for you: The PRP reports that the band will be filming the February 20th date in L.A. and the February 21st date in San Francisco for a DVD (and, we can assume, Blu-ray, for those of us who prefer hi-def). And for those of us who are/were lucky enough to catch the tour, well, now we’ll have a very nice souvenir so we can induce PMHSD (Post-Machine Head Stress Disorder) anytime we want!

Says the band of the filming:

To commemorate the success of “Bloodstone & Diamonds” as well as the unquestionable success of our “An Evening With Machine Head” tour dates, we want to document the crazy, insane, over-the-top fans we have and show the world what the “Head Cases of America” are like, and what better place to do it than our home state of California!!!

HELP SPREAD THE WORD HEAD CASES!!

We want Banana-Men to come out, Spidermen to come out, Darth Raider and the Raider Nation in full regalia!! We want this DVD to be a “Heavy Metal Mardi Gras”!!! (Complete with 24 hour drinking sessions!!) Make sure to take an Über and catch the band that has inspired a thousand DUI’s!!!

LET’S RAGE KALIFORNIA!!!!

NICE!!! So those Cali shows sound like they may be even further off the hook than the other gigs have been. Lucky fuckers.
