Listen to Faith No More’s New Single, “Superhero,” Right Now!!!

Well, here’s an awesome Sunday afternoon surprise: Faith No More have unveiled their new single, “Superhero,” via Marvel’s website, which is certainly appropriate given the song’s title.

I know some FNM fans who were a little disappointed by “Motherfucker,” the band’s last single, their feeling being that it was a little too low-key and repetitive. But I can’t fathom of anyone being down on “Superhero.” It sounds like FNM picked up exactly where they left off with ’97’s Album of the Year.

Stream “Superhero” below. It will be released as a limited edition 7-inch single on March 17 and a digital single on March 31. It will also, of course, appear on Faith No More’s new album, Sol Invictus, which comes out May 19 via Reclamation Recordings/Ipecac Recordings.
