Fifteen Seconds of New Mastodon is Better Than No New Mastodon at All

The upcoming officially sanctioned mixtape tie-in for HBO’s Game of Thrones, entitled Catch the Throne, Vol. II, is just getting more and more metal by the minute: we already knew that Anthrax and Killswitch Engage would appear on the mix, but it’s now been announced that Mastodon will, as well. (Also, Mushroomhead, but I assume you don’t care about Mushroomhead if you’re reading this, because you’re reading.)

Mastodon have now unveiled a brief-preview of their contribution to the mix, and it’s… well… it’s hard to say anything about a snippet this short. But I do hope some of it is a little more rockin’.
