Blind Guardian Announce North American Tour With Grave Digger

No matter how cool or edgy I try to be, I can’t hate power metal. Sure, it’s mostly about princesses in ice castles and wizards throwing shit around, and it has a fanbase that is 96% stretch marked nerds and 4% musclebound nutbars, but man, I love a booming chorus over a wailing guitar. I love a lyric about plunging a sword.

Which is why I was ridiculously stoked to learn via Metal Underground that Blind Guardian and Grave Digger are heading out on a North American trek together this fall. Blind Guardian might be the best power metal band of all time–listen to “Battlefield”, right now–and Grave Digger take cheese to a level so epic that it can’t be ignored.

Ride bravely out to one of the dates below, but make sure to brush up on your vital Blind Guardian facts first.
