Fucking Listen to This New Fucking Jungle Rot Song Right Fucking Now

Jungle Rot fall into the category of what I affectionately call “big fat dumb guy death metal.” That’s not a slight against the band or their fans — I’m sure the dudes are all swell, fit chaps, and by calling their fans dumb I’d also be implicating myself — but more an allusion to their musical approach: stupid simple. Sometimes simple is good, and though they’ve not achieved the recognition or success of many of their ’90s DM peers, Jungle Rot have consistently been churning out simple but deliciously fantastic death metal for two decades. Sometimes you just wanna FUCK ALL and not think about it, nahmean?

So hey, this new jam “Paralyzed Prey.” Once the drums kick in you’ll understand exactly what I mean: nothing complicated, just a perfectly mongoloid, catchy-as-fuck riff that hits you in that sweet spot and a mid-tempo groove to propel it forward. Cannot wait to get my hands on this album when it comes out, smoke a doob, drink some beer and get fucking stupid.
