A New Music Video, Album and Tour for Primitive Weapons

0

Primitive WeaponsPrimitive Weapons frontman David Castillo also happens to be one of the owners of Saint Vitus Bar, the de-facto Brooklyn metal venue and hang spot these days, so it only makes sense that PW would film their new music video for “The Electric Drama” there.

But while they could’ve just gone the standard performance video route, they didn’t; director Zev Deans (Behemoth, Portal, Liturgy) took a much more interesting approach, splicing in neat-o visual effects (courtesy of Madeline Quinn) with the personal journey of one individual headbanger in attendance. The result is a music video that’s way more engaging and pretty on the eyes than your average affair. Check it below.

AS EXCITING: Primitive Weapons will finally release a new record later this year! The follow up to 2012’s highly awesome The Shadow Gallery will come out via PartySmaher Inc., the label/media platform run by Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman. It’ll be called The Future of Death and will come out this fall on a date TBA.

Catch Primitive Weapons on tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan and Mutoid Man starting this week. Dates here.
