Fear Factory Hack Your Soul

Fear Factory have released the first single from their new album, Genexus. It’s called “Soul Hacker,” and you can check it out below. Honestly, I’m posting it as a public service announcement, because I’m still the dude who doesn’t really “get” Fear Factory. So I could tell you that this song doesn’t do much for me, but that wouldn’t differentiate it from any Fear Factory song. So maybe I’m not the guy to pass judgment. I will say this: Burton Seabell very much sounds like he could serve as the tool that alerts people along a coast something is happening. Almost like, I dunno, a bell near the sea.

Genexus is out August 7 on Nuclear Blast.
