Mastodon’s New Music Video is Going to Have Creepy Cats in It

Mastodon’s Instagram feed has been nothing but cats for the past week. Not cats in the regular Internet way — like pics of Brann Dailor cuddled up in bed with his cutie or whatever — but creepy-as-fuck puppet cats with oversized heads and giant, fluorescent eyes. To wit:

It’s since come to light that all this cat nonsense is a tease for the band’s new music video for the Once More ‘Round the Sun album track “Asleep In The Deep,” and the band’s shared a few preview clips as well. Real cats AND lightning-breathing animatronic cats? FUCK YEAH. Watch:
