Exclusive Track Premiere: Walking Corpse Syndrome Usher In Their “Apocalypse”

Walking Corpse Syndrome are winning me over hard. The Missoula, Montana death metal band’s last video was an awesome mix of pounding death metal and grotesque stop-motion animation. Their brand of thick, blasting death metal reminds me of bands like The Berzerker and Man Must Die, who use overkill and clean production to create an overwhelming wall of sound.

So it gives me sick pleasure to premiere the band’s latest track, “Apocalypse.” The song has the perfect blend of infectiousness and utter punishment, with a chorus that was just made to be screamed by a front row of fans with their hands in the air. Listen below.

The band’s new album, Human Delusion, comes out in September. I’m stoked to hear it.
