Video: King Diamond and Kerry King from Slayer Perform Mercyful Fate’s “Evil” at Mayhem Fest

It would appear that after his recent comments slamming the tour for having what he (and, apparently, the fans) consider to be a weak bill, Slayer guitarist Kerry King decided to take things into his own hands and spice up Mayhem Fest: at the July 21 stop of the tour in Holmdel, NJ, King joined King Diamond on stage for a rendition of Mercyful Fate’s classic, “Evil.” I suspect even King would have paid to see that.

For those of us who weren’t there, luckily we don’t have to pay to see it… ’cause we have some cell phone footage to watch instead! Yay technology!!!

I wonder if the duo will be doing this every night now? Might as well, right? If word starts to spread, maybe they can boost ticket sales.
