Screen Shot 2015-07-29 at 3.33.56 PMIn his latest video, internet sensation/magnificent bastard Rob Scallon plays 31 famous riffs in less time than it takes to microwave a Hot Pocket. What’s really cool about the clip isn’t that Scallon smushes so many songs together in so brief a period of time — it’s the way he’s worked out the transitions so that one riffs blends seamlessly with the next. I’m especially stoked that he put Ozzy’s “Crazy Train” and Buckethead’s “Welcome to Bucketheadland” together, ’cause, well, I love Buckethead, but he CLEARLY aped that riff. (Funny side note: Ozzy refused to hire Buckethead as his post-Zakk Wylde guitar player because BH refused to ditch his trademark mask and KFC bucket.)
