Failure Announce Fall Tour Dates, Become a Four-Piece, Release Live Performance Footage

0

FailureDid you miss the reunited Failure on their summer tour that recently came to a close? Are you aching to hear songs from their highly excellent new record The Heart is a Monster live?

Then you’re in luck: the band just announced a string of new U.S. tour dates in October, as well as three in Australia for Soundwave in January 2016.

But that’s not all! The band will return to being a four piece, bringing on former touring band member Troy Van Leeuwen as a second guitar player. Van Leeuwen has played guitar in Queens of the Stone Age for the past 13 years, and he toured with Failure on the Fantastic Planet album cycle (and played on four of the songs on The Heart Is A Monster, too). His presence should give a nice boost of thickness to Failure’s live sound.

But wait! There’s more! The band played live in the studio at the Seattle radio station KEXP last week, and there’s some great footage of that performance available. Check it out below, and get the tour dates below that.
