Lamb of God Featured In Trailer for Horror Game Show Hellevator

0

It’s no secret Lamb of God are horror fans; Randy Blythe has even cameoed in horror films in the past. Now, the band has leant their track “512” to the new horror game show Hellevator.

Blythe even commented on Lamb of God’s participation:

“Our fascination with the horrors of history – which is part of the theme of our album – is also evidenced in Hellevator, and the tone of the show is a perfect fit with the vibe of 512.

Much like our music, the show takes you to a place you’re not sure you want to go to. But if you’re brave enough, it’s an amazing experience.”

And it’s a cool tie-in, too, because the show looks pretty fun. The brainchild of the Soska sisters, AKA the Twisted Twins (if you get a chance, check out their bizarre body-mod movie American Mary), Hellevator has contestants taken to different floors of a chamber of horrors via a grimy freight elevator, where they’re required to deal with realistic horror scenarios in the hopes of winning prizes. Basically imagine a haunted house with a large budget that offers you rewards if you’re willing to interact with the monsters.

And while it’s a little cheesy–as with most haunted houses, I’m sure the actors aren’t allowed to actually brutalize the participants–it’ll be fun to watch a bunch of people get the crap scared out of them by twisted monsters.

Watch the trailer below. Hellevator can be viewed on the Game Show Network.
