Lost Soul’s New Album is the Death Metal Record of the Week

0

I can always count on No Clean Singing to dredge up some fantastic death metal band from across the globe that no one’s ever heard of, and today is no exception: Poland’s Lost Soul.

I know what you’re thinking: you’re cooler than me, and you already know Lost Soul. They’re about to release their FIFTH album after all, and they’ve been around for over 20 years. Well, good for you! I envy you in your metal supremacy.

For the rest of us, take a gander at Lost Soul’s latest, Atlantis: A New Beginning, below. If you like groovy, riffy death metal in the vein of Gojira, Gorguts, Ulcerate or even Behemoth, this one’s a surefire hit for you. There are sprinklings of black metal and dashes of dissonance, too, but it’s the death metal element that’s pulling the train here; this thing just never lets up. It’s cruising and it’s crushing.

Atlantis: A New Beginning comes out this Friday, October 30th, via Apostasy Records; order here.
