Exclusive Track Premieres: Turbid North’s “Red Giant” and “The Burning Sky

0

On November 20, perennial MetalSucks faves Turbid North will release Eyes Alive, their first album in four years. To say the wait was worth it, though, would be a massive understatement: Eyes Alive is one of the best metal albums of 2015. Turbid North are back, and they’re back in a big, bad way.

The proof is in the pudding — the pudding, in this case, being the songs “Red Giant” and “The Burning Sky,” a pair of tracks that the band has decided to premiere together for reasons that will be obvious when you listen to ’em.

Says guitarist/vocalist Nick Forkel of the songs:

“The themes and storyline of ‘Eyes Alive’ work in three separate acts. We chose this piece as our final song premiere because it marks a crucial shift in the albums story. It shows more dynamics and the sound of the album starts to evolve a bit more. It’s one of our favorites, and you get two songs for the price of one!”

Turn your speakers up to eleven and blast “Red Giant” and “The Burning Sky” below! Turbid North’s own newly-created label, The Pyramid, will release Eyes Alive on November 20. Pre-order it here!!!
