Listen to Darkest Hour’s Super-Heavy Cover of Judas Priest’s “Painkiller”

What happens when you combine two things that kick ass? You get an unfathomable amount of ass-kickery that can only be described as a Darkest Hour cover of Judas Priest’s “Painkiller.”

It’s a pretty damn good cover and it certainly makes sense that Darkest Hour would cover Judas Priest seeing as you can hear the influence in DH’s music. And there’s something about hearing Rob Halford’s high-pitched vocals done in a heavier metal style that just makes me happy on the inside.

But hey, instead of just taking my word for it, you can check the song out for yourself! Because who would trust someone named Phil Boozeman anyway? That’s a stupid name.

Stream it below or download “Painkiller” along with a cover of Minor Threat’s “I Don’t Want To Hear It” for free right here.
