This is What It Sounds Like When Periphery Drummer Matt Halpern Poops His Pants

When it comes to videos of celebrities mic’ed up, nothing will ever top this one of Kansas City Royals great and part-time hitting instructor George Brett talking about shitting his pants. As far as I know it’s completely, 100% real.

In the spirit of that video — and the myriad hilarious metal parodies Andy Rehfeldt has created over the years — the folks behind the Facebook group “Matt Halpern’s V-Neck” have taken a video of the Periphery drummer laying down some tracks in the studio and dubbed some vocal noises over it based on trademark Matt’s facial expressions. And they’ve done a damn fine job! If not for the fact that the video’s creators run a parody site I might even think this was real, mic’ed up George Brett style. Who knows, Halpern might even be shitting his pants.
