Steel Panther - Live from Lexxi's Mom's Garage

Boy oh boy, do we have a special treat for you today, kiddies!

On February 26, Steel Panther — the only glam metal band that matters in the modern era — will release Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage on Open E Records via Kobalt Label Services! The band’s first full length film features a live, ten-song acoustic concert, which was filmed this past October in front of a live audience of scantily clad woman (and one old creepy fat guy who somehow got a ticket) in (duh) the garage of bassist Lexxi Foxx’s mom, Bobbie Brown (yes, that Bobbie Brown). Interspersed witinh the performance are comedic vignettes showcasing the band’s unmatched shenanigans and debauchery. And while that alone should be enough to entice any fan, there’s icing on this cake: one of the ten songs is new!

Entitled “That’s When You Came In,” this fresh jam is a highly infectious love song that makes “Patience” and “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” sound like they were composed by toddlers. And, as the song title’s double entendre would suggest, the lyrics are chock full of Steel Panther’s usual high-class wit. We’re sure there are people in the world who don’t love Steel Panther, but we don’t understand them — not one bit!

MetalSucks is beyond stoked to premiere “That’s When You Came In,” which you can check out below! Then pre-order Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage here. And don’t forget to keep up with Steel Panther’s tour itinerary! These dudes are incredible live, and you should never miss a chance to see ’em!!!
