Inter Arma to Decimate the East Coast and Midwest on 2016 Spring Tour

Inter Arma 2016 TourShould Inter Arma’s forthcoming album have been included in our current Albums That Will %$#& Your Face Off in 2016 feature? Absolutely. Coming off an incredibly strong effort with 2014’s The Cavern and a whole crapload of touring in support of it, Inter Arma are poised to become a household name in extreme metal circles in the coming year or two. In one blogger’s humble opinion, anyway. They’re a band I could easily see being tapped by some of metal’s ultimate heavyweights — Lamb of God, Slayer, Gojira, Machine Head, etc — as an opening act, and beyond that I could see members of any of those bands latching onto Inter Arma as fans. They’re fucking great live, I’m telling you.

In the meantime we’ll have to settle for a quick headline tour this spring, which is certainly welcome news too. The tour, co-presented by Old Spice and Degree, sees the band traverse the eastern seaboard with a small handful of Midwest dates thrown in. The band will soon head back to Dark Art Audio, where the band has produced its last two releases, with Mikey Allred (Yautja, Hivelords) to record their next album, due out early 2016 via Relapse Records.
