Conan’s Animated “Throne of Fire” Video is a Stoner Metal Wet Dream

Conan’s Revengeance came out last week, and if you haven’t heard it yet you need to get on that. The album is a ten-ton slab of nasty, uncompromising doom metal that sounds like an undead warrior rising from a swamp to wreak havoc on all who stand in his path. Yeah, it’s that good.

If you’re not convinced, check out the animated video for “Throne of Fire” below. It basically feeds sweet molten opium directly into the doom metal soul. There’s a wizard living in a weed-skull who sends a giant to destroy a planet where Lemmy is a fisherman. If that description alone doesn’t make you want to watch it, I can’t help you.
