Convulse No Longer Claims World is Godless; Now Say I’m God

We’ve come a long way from the album for which Convulse are best known, World Without God: the band’s new single, “God is You,” sounds almost like a completely different band. In fact, this is the second song from Convulse’s upcoming Cycle of Revenge, after last year’s “Pangea,” where Convulse don’t sound very convulsive.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing — variety, after all, is the spice of life! And “God is You” sounds like the best Megadeth song Megadeth didn’t get to put on Dystopia, only with death metal vocals. I approve!
