Swans’ Michael Gira Accused of Rape by Former Collaborator, Claims Accusations are a “Slanderous Lie”

Yesterday, Swans frontman Michael Gira was publicly accused of sexual assault by former collaborator Larkin Grimm, which Gira has since called a “slanderous lie.”

Grimm, whose 2008 album Parplar came out on Gira’s Young God label, posted the following to her Facebook. The basic gist is that Gira sexually assaulted her while she was drunk and sleeping, and then proceeded to make unwanted advances to her until she told him to stop, at which point he dropped her from his label.
