Here’s Footage of Dave Lombardo Performing with Suicidal Tendencies for the First Time

Remember last week, when we reported that Suicidal Tendencies had brought former Slayer drummer and father of extreme metal drumming Dave Lombardo on as their drummer while touring with Megadeth? Well, the first show featuring Suicidal Dave went off in Vegas on Friday. You can watch video below, where Dave is killing it behind the kit.

As Axl mentioned in his announcement post, this is an extremely smart move on Suicidal’s part. Given Lombardo’s legacy within the thrash scene and metal at large, he’ll certainly draw a lot more interest and curiosity in the band (not that they need it, as ST is a crushing live force, but hey, I think any band wants any chance to play with Dave Lombardo).

Still no word of where Suicidal’s Eric Moore is or whether this will become Lombardo’s full-time gig. If you want to catch Suicidal playing with Dave, make it to one of the dates here.
