Before there were blogs there were these things called magazines, and the only metal magazine we still get excited about reading every month is Decibel. Here’s editor-in-chief Albert Mudrian…

The Chills, the debut album from Philly/VA death metallers Horrendous, was Decibel’s 23rd favorite album of 2012. The next LP, Ecdysis, was Decibel’s third favorite release of 2014. The trio quickly followed it with Anareta a year later, which took home Decibel’s Album of the Year honor in 2015.

Now, I’m no mathematician, but by the aforementioned calculations, I’m pretty sure this brand new track Horrendous recorded exclusively for the Decibel Flexi Series will be our RELEASE OF THE DECADE.

Hey, I said math wasn’t my field of expertise, OK? Anyway, listen this first taste of new Horrendous music since the stunning Anareta below. And then motor to the Decibel store to grab a copy of the May issue, which includes this flexi (limited quantities available). While you’re at it, you should probably buy tickets to the next Horrendous show, which happens to be the opening date of the 2016 Decibel Magazine Tour. You’re welcome.

The May 2016 issue of Decibel can be purchased here, and also features Amon Amarth, Twisted Sister, and Cobalt. But to not just get a full subscription would be a HORRENDOUS decision (see what we did there?).
