Seven Other Bands Changing Their Name to Play South Africa

Yesterday, we learned that as the result of religious protests, Rotting Christ will have to temporarily change their name in order to play in South Africa this July.

Today, MetalSucks has exclusively obtained a list of seven other bands that will follow in Rotting Christ’s footsteps by adopting new monikers in order to perform in South Africa.

Below is a complete list of those bands — as well as their “new” names.

DEICIDE will perform as DECIDE

HEAVEN SHALL BURN will perform as EVAN SHALL BURN

DEVILDRIVER will perform as LEVELDIVER

GOATWHORE will perform as BOATTOUR

EYEHATEGOD will perform as EYEHATESCROD

NUNSLAUGHTER will perform as NUN’S LAUGHTER

IMPALED NAZARENE will perform as IMPALED JEW
