“Ghost in the Mist,” Lacuna Coil in Your Ears

0

My anticipation for Lacuna Coil’s new album, Delirium, is higher than my anticipation for a new Lacuna Coil album has been in years. Will it be good? No idea. Will it be interesting? It sure seems that way: of the three singles released thus far, two of them, “House of Shame” and now “Ghost in the Mist,” don’t really sound all that much like the Lacuna Coil of yore (the title track is far more traditional). That’s exciting! And I’ve actually really dug both of those songs, which suggest Delirium could be an example of positive artistic evolution and not misguided hubris (e.g., St. Anger).

Check out “Ghost in the Mist” below. Delirium comes out May 27 on Century. Get all the band’s upcoming tour dates at the bottom of this post.
