GWAR-B-Q 2016 to Include Lamb of God, Eyehategod, Other Bands Without the Word “God” in Their Names

GWAR-B-Q, GWAR’s annual orgy of heavy metal and other things that might kill you, will return this August for its SEVENTH edition, which is amazing and awesome. Also amazing and awesome: this year’s line-up, which hasn’t even been completely announced yet.

Bands we know for sure are playing: GWAR (duh), Lamb of God, Eyehategod, Against Me!, American Nightmare, and Lagwagon. Additionaly, the event’s annual pre-party, B4BQ, will feature the entire 2016 Summer Slaughter bill. While that tour hasn’t been officially announced yet, we know that Cannibal Corpse and Nile will be a part of it, with Suffocation, Revocation, After the Burial, Krisiun, and Carnifex also rumored. Any opportunity to can see GWAR, Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God, Nile, and Eyehategod in a single 24 hour period is nothing short of a gift from Satan himself.

GWAR-B-Q 2016 will take place on August 20 at Hadad’s Lake in Richmond, VA (so, for those of you who are slow — the B4BQ will be on August 19). Tickets will go on sale in early June. Keep your eyes peeled to the event’s official website for more details.
