Jim Breuer Teams Up with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson on “Mr. Rock ‘N Roll”

0

After it was announced that AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson was leaving the band due to his hearing loss, comedian Jim Breuer was quick to speak out against Johnson’s bandmates, claiming the singer was “kicked to the curb.” And it makes sense that Breuer was so quick to speak up for the singer, given that Johnson had guest-starred on two songs from Songs from the Garage, Breuer’s upcoming metal comedy album.

Now, you can hear one of the tracks featuring Johnson, called “Mr. Rock ‘N Roll.” As with the previous track from the album we featured, “Be A Dick 2Nite,” the song’s lyrics are about being a metal dude in the face of suburban fatherhood and general mundane bullshit. It’s pretty much an AC/DC tribute track, right down to Breuer’s vocals, which are frighteningly similar to Johnson’s.

Listen to “Mr. Rock ‘N Roll” below. Jim Breüer and the Loud & Rowdy’s Songs from the Garage comes out May 27th on Metal Blade. You can pre-order it here.
