Rage Against the Machine Have Launched a Countdown — But to What?
Something is afoot in the Rage Against the Machine camp.
The rap-metal pioneers have launched a new website, prophetsofrage.com. Currently, the site is counting down to June 1. The countdown clock, you will note via the below image, also features the hashtag #TAKETHEPOWERBACK, which, duh, is the title of one of the songs from RATM’s 1992 eponymous debut.
Meanwhile, posters have begun to spring up featuring the same image and slogan.

Interestingly, “Prophets of Rage” is a also the name of a song from Public Enemy’s 1988 album, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, leading to some speculation that there could be a RATM/PE tour brewing.
